There are threads on the use of e] for that and other effects.
The usual citations go toward Roth's routine and sometimes folks remember Dingle's routine. David Neighbors has several versions of the trick and probably has over a hundred applications of e] in his magic.

Randy, Larry Jennings has a great routine printed up in his book, "The Classic Magic of Larry Jennings". It is called Peripatetic Coins. (The L.J. Shell Steal is a great little move that can be very useful in many other effects.) Good Luck, Roy McIlwee.

I have adapted a routine called (I believe)
Quadra Quicksand Coins from Kaufman's Coin Magic. Rather than a coins across it is a tongue in cheek vanish of 4 coins one at a time. I sometimes include the basic idea into a coins to glass. Harris

Flying eagles is one of the best and very simple to do and no gimmicks.
Sorry I do not who to credit for this effect. vinny |

Quadra Quicksand Coins is Goeff Latta's.
The Flying Eagles routine is in Bobo's. So is a routine called 'Flight Three'.

Eddie Fechter said he invented Flying Eagles as a young boy...long before Bobo's. If you had ever seen Eddie do the Flying Eagles...then you witnessed pure magic!!!

Roger Klause's "Triple Play" from his book is a great three coins across with ES. A good follow up to this is Dan Harlan's "Rising Dough"

The Café's own Eric Grossman has a pretty cool sequence for a 4 coins across in the hands, I think it was published in Channel One?
Not sure what issue, he can probably fill you in. |

I second that. Eric showed it to me once and I was especially taken by his progressive routining. Something that a lot of other versions miss.
He really makes it build! But hey, there are more references already named to keep you busy for months!;-) One other direction: Gary Kurtz' take on 3-fly from his routine Misty like a dream...

Thanks you guys. I'm extremely flattered. The handling that Erik(MacGyver) and Dan mentioned is supposed to be printed in Channel One, in an upcoming issue devoted to Midwest magicians. Tony Miller would be the guy to ask. I'd be happy to show it to anyone that runs into me (literally and figuritively[sp?]) Maybe at the SAM national convention?
Eric Grossman PS I second Gary Kurtz' routine.
