For those who have studied Principles and Deceptions, I am working on the production that is brought about with fingers 2& 3, unlike the using the index/middle production from the upper downs.
Anyone use it much? I've been practicing it, and like it because the coin seems to reveal itself more suddenly than the other variety. However, it is a lot harder for me, and I find halves are too small and make my hand look cramped, so I am using dollars. I've considered trying to adapt Kainoa's edge grip positioning shown in Coins on Edge, but think I shouldn't merge these techniques just yet, based on my abilities. Any thoughts on these type of techniques would be appreciated |

Ted,
My goodness I've been reading through P&D since you gave it to me the other night. I was trying the Down's palm from the same position you're talking about and it's pretty awkward, for me at least. LOL Anyway if you want something along the lines of a sudden appearance remind me to show you a production at the next IBM meeting. This production is pretty sudden and very quick so it might be what your looking for, it occurs from the normal Down's palm though. Let me know what you think. -Bill P.S. Still working on that Roll Out |

HAHA don't get too depressed about the Five Coin Rollout... I think when I showed you it was the first time I nailed it on the first try, been working on it since then though and I have now worked up the guts to try the Six Coin Rollout!!!

In 1976 I saw Ger Copper rollout in one hand four coins and drop one "accidentally" to which it was magically replaced. It was one of the most beautiful and rather memorable coin flourishes I had ever seen. Is that what you guys are after or do you happen to have a 6th finger I don't know about?

Actually it is a rollout with 5 coins... Think of a regular rollout but with a 5th coin that is being held between the thumb and pinky. It kind of creates a circle of coins in the hand. The 6 coin rollout is the same as the 5 coin one only with a 6th coin in the middle of the "circle" being held with the index and ring finger. Hopefully you understand what I'm trying to say. It's a little hard to explain.
