Ok, I watched the Wizard Product review, and I have and have performed this for real people. I would say this, if you can't manage an audience, don't perform this effect. Also practice it, like the levitation isn't going to be perfectly still, but I kinda like the small wobble, as long as it's not so obvious and changes to a as David calls it, a wobble. Personally, I think it's a performable effect, your spectators aren't going to catch on unless it's magicians, and they can examine everything, and getting in and out is so easy, they will feel like it's been so clean.That being said, if you don't have experience with TNR or Levitations, practice a lot before you perform. The no body hookup I think is awesome, cause you can be doing your normal card routine and get the gimmick so easily when needed, and this takes zero pocket space.... You don't have to retrieve anything from your pockets. If you don't want to put in practice to make it look good, don't get it, that simple. Like it's definitely not something you can do in all situations, but when you can perform it, it pays off. I have an Instagram performance if anyone is interested I can post a link here, or you can message me.

The ad copy says this;
At the end of your card routine, imagine taking your spectator's signed card with your empty hands, visually tearing the corner off, suspending the corner in thin air, and making it visually levitate upwards until it completely restores itself on the card. This method allows you to: 1) Float the corner 2) Visually have the corner animate at any speed 3) Restore the card INSTANTLY and VISUALLY 4) Hand the card out immediately, which is 100% examinable An alternative version is taught where the SPECTATOR HOLDS THE CARD while the corner floats and restores. The spectator is left holding an examinable card, which is now an unforgettable souvenir. Disclaimer: They will be MINDF*CKED - Includes the main supplies you will need to prepare "Flight" - Use any design of cards you desire - No body hookups or switches or difficult sleights - Gimmick is easy to make and will last you a very long time - Bonus: Shin's surrounded version of "Flight" This isn't dishonest anywhere from what I can see... The only line that could be maybe questioned is "An alternative version is taught where the SPECTATOR HOLDS THE CARD while the corner floats and restores. The spectator is left holding an examinable card, which is now an unforgettable souvenir." But that's possible.... It's a little more daring, but very possible. This trick will come down to audience management. |

It is misleading in the trailer where they show the surrounded view of the corner floating up and attaching itself. And the next shot shoes the front on view and restoration. So both consecutive shots are using different methods but it is filmed in a way where it seems to be the same card and piece of corner but in reality you cannot just massage the restored corner and give it out straight away

Actually, the surrounded version looks like that. I went back and watched the part you were talking about. That is Shin's bonus version, and that is totally possible. I don't know why it cuts half way through the restoration, as it doesn't need to. With that version you can't hand it out right away, but it can be viewed from all angles, and a simple t** ch**** could work to switch it out
