Mickael Chatelain is probably one of the top creators in our industry. This guy creates so much magic, does he ever sleep?
Here is his latest offer "Influence". It has a bit of process but nothing that can't be solved with a little bit of patter like "I will isolate the cards in the box so I can't do any trickery". More info: http://www.murphysmagic.com/Product.aspx?id=58550 What do you guys think? Titanas

I like how ‘self contained’ this can be ever during strolling. Just using a normal deck, and the cards counted out slowly on to a standing spectators hand..
It’s a good visual.. as the cards are slowly being drawn out of the box very fairly one at a time onto a spectators hand. I think that’s the image the spectators take away after the trick.. MoM have Influence on the site now with free worldwide shipping here https://www.magicshop.co.uk/influence It’s expected to ship out on the 10th October. Best wishes Dominic Reyes

I like this. Very clean. I'm assuming you just receive a gimmicked card. Hopefully cards, so you can change the outcome.

I love Mickaels effects and love his stand at the Blackpool convention every year and Titanas is right he is a genius . However this just appears to me that he is holding the card back in the box and releasing as required ? This you can tell I believe by his hand movements on the card box and the movement of his thumb In my speculative opinion . Also the fact that the face card is never seen as they enter the box . Anyway I am sure it will be good and fry laypeople and of course I may well be wrong in my assumption in method . One thing is for certain it will be a very clever gimmick . Just my initial thoughts Tarik 😊

Why do magic dealers advertise products they don't have. Next they will be taking orders for 2019.

It's also a time to build an FAQ on the item, get feedback, further ideas from the community prior to release, and help magicians know if something is a good fit for them. I think the key is information, range, and choice. There's nothing worse than ordering an item only to discover it's out of stock. MoM tell you for each and every product exactly when you will receive it so there are no surprises. You can even split deliveries into different days at the checkout. Unless it's a pre-order item, If it's not available, it's not possible to order it. If you do order something you have up to a fully year to decide if you want to keep it or return it. Or you can sit back and wait for reviews. With the amount of garbage released nowadays it's the sensible option. The only person who benefits from pre-order is the owner of the magic shop.
Never believe the hype of "these are selling fast" "there's only 50 available for the first release" BS either. |

Sort of torn on this one.
Don't know if it's me thinking like a magician but picking the cards from the box seems a bit too convenient and suspicious from a specs perspective. |

I agree Ray. On second thoughts I was thinking as a magician in terms of clean method, but to a spec this would look very suspect indeed. Why would you use this method to choose a card? Much, much better out there.
