Try searching for "Asian Riff" or "Oriental Riff". There's a lot out there.

Art was also an actor. Find him in your VHS/DVD/Blu-Ray copy of Police Academy.

Windows Media player and most music programs can convert audio to MP3, just look at the setting, and then read the help files.

VLC player is free on the Internet. Here is how you can use this video player to convert tunes to MP3 format.

Try an iTunes search for Chinatown, My Chinatown . It's on an album called Magic in the Moonlight (Music from the Motion Picture) I thinks it's the closest to what you're looking for.

There's an app called Shazam (free) for IPhones and IPads. It may also be available for other Smartphones. I don't know for sure.
Anyway, if you play a tune it will identify the song for you. If you're good, you can sing the song and it will give you info.
I don't know if Chinese music is in the database.

Unfortunately Shazam needs a little more info than the few bars of music Neznarf is looking for. But yes Shazam does work well for identifying unknown music.

ITunes is NG because I use a MP3Tech and it does not jive/work with iTunes music.

And Yes we pretty much all know about Shazam.

Sometimes I use it while watching "So You Think You Can Dance" because they use some cool music that would work for Magic.
