Simon Aronson describes the Bedwell Dribble Toss Control in detail in his book Art Decko, because he uses it a lot and has many variations, which he explains in Art Decko.
The most popular Aronson touch or finesse is the Funsky Glimpse (named after me, because I showed it to Simon). My glimpse allows you to learn the identity of the spectator's selection, something one couldn't do with the original Bedwell Dribble Toss control. The Funsky glimpse is done naturally, in the act of squaring the dribbled cards. You may not need the glimpse, if your particular effect doesn't require you to know the identity of the spectator's card. Simon's routine Not a Chance (in Art Decko) makes good use of it. What magicfish demonstrates (quite well) is the the original Bedwell control, without the Funsky Glimpse.
“Just because something’s imaginary doesn’t mean it isn’t real.”

Good stuff. I love that the left hand action can be done super slow-mo, and the retention of vision aspect is still effective.
