Most cups you buy online are fairly expensive. Anyone have suggestions on finding or making cups. What cups would need and why what you would suggest would be a good option. Also options for balls are welcome thank you.

Well - I'd say the basic you need is cups that will hold a ball, and fit whatever final load you want to do.
Lance Burton did it with coffee cups. What suits your character and the goal of the routine?

I am legally blind. My wife says I look like a modern wizard because of my cloths and the fact I use a bamboo stick rather than a white blind cane. I want to be able to feel or make whatever I am working with so I know if it's a good fit before I buy it. Something none traditional like wood maybe.

Any 3 cups and any thing small enough to do the sleights will work. You can probably find some cool cups at walmart.

Can't stand WalMart, personally, but he's right.
Another good option, since I tend to go bizarre, would be antique stores - some cool 'container' finds there. According to Ricky Jay this game has been played with salt cellars, candle sticks, bowls, and cups made of cheap metals like tin which on occasion have the appearance of being .. penetrable.

Good tip, WitchDocChris. Going another step down, I love to browse JUNK stores, those places where the owner cleans out other people's stuff and resells it for pennies. I've found all kinds of unique brass and silver (colored) household items, kitchen and tableware that go beyond the conventional look. These places are often crammed with stuff that is poorl organized so set aside some time and bring your imagination.

BW... as you search for Cups consider what size balls you plan to use and how big a final load you need to manage. If nesting three balls at once is necessary, take that into consideration.
Good luck on your quest. Take care. Bruce |

In the past I have taken a chop cup with me to the store to double-check final loads, and I have also done vis versa where I took what I wanted to be my final load to a store to make sure I could find a cup that would hold it.
