I am pursuing various blank deck printing ideas and I wondered if anybody has ever produced a deck in which each face is only half printed vertically, so that spreading the pack in a ribbon spread one way looks normal and in the opposite way looks blank?

Check out Aaron DeLong's Hummer Deck. I think that's what you're looking for. Not sure if you can still get the deck on it's own, but it was re-released with a DVD and marketed as Twisted Blizzard.

Was the Hummer Deck ever printed in blue bicycle?

About 20ish years ago Dominique Duvivier put out a deck called The Duvivier Deck. This deck is basicly what you described.
