Does anyone know of a website that would sell a large Sponge Apple?

Hmm, well I did a quick search and found lots of recipes for Apple sponge cake, yum yum in me tum.
I'm not sure such a thing exists. Bananas yes. Apples no. Maybe you should think about getting into the exciting world of hand-cutting sponges. Just get a load of big green/red sponges some sharp kitchen scissors and also smaller nail scissors and work away. You make one heck of a mess but after a bit of practise you can make them pretty neatly. Actually, if you can get your hands on a large red Goshman ball then most of the work will be done for you. You just need to cut a dent in each end then cut a stalk and leaves from a green sponge and glue them in place. Watch out what you glue them with though, some glues melt sponges. George " I hand-cut all my sponges" "Why's that then?" "I kept dropping the scissors when I tried with my feet." |
