While there's plenty of great resources on ACR (World's Greatest and Daryl's ACR DVD being two of them - man, if only you could find his omnibus book in print!) - it's no surprise that Pop's is one of my favorites. Ironically, after hours upon hours of researching the plot and studying every published routine I could get my hands on, I settled on a routine that I liked a lot. Then, I was made aware of Pop's routine, and to my surprise it was almost identical to my own.
As for card to wallet, I know there are some great ones out there, but the one I've made the most use of so far is the JOL Plus Large (don't get the small...learn from my mistake!). I use it for card to envelope using Dave Bonsall's Bonsalopes from PropDog. Not instant reset, but it is killer. A couple others I've heard good things are the standard Mullica wallet and Robson's Workers Dream. So the TL;DR - I second Mike's suggestion - Specific Resonance with a good wallet (my preference is the JOL Plus Large, but if I recall I think Pop uses a custom made Le Paul style wallet for his routine that was based on a Larry Jennings wallet that could hold a full billing envelope in it, which is rather large for just card to wallet, imo. |

I'm teaching a card to envelope which can be adapted to a wallet in my upcoming DVD. Hoping it will be released in a couple of weeks.
It's by far the best Card to 'Wallet' ever created. Ever. But then again I may be biased slightly |

Dorian,
I would suggest a wallet because it can be used for more than just the ambitious card routine. I would suggest the Real Man's Wallet. It frequent shows up for $20-25 dollars. Although some other wallets have more features, many feel this is an excellent wallet. I would also get on the llpub mailing list. Periodically they run discounts on their DVDs to $10. Both the WGM w/o a physical gimmic or Daryls video, where he includes how to make his gimmick are included. They usually do this towards late December for holiday promotions. Although Daryls gimmick is a GREAT ending, there are others to consider. Good luck |

If you decide to go the wallet route, be sure to check ebay. I have bought two C2Ws there...both unused...and saved close to half of retail. Just be sure you know the market price of what you are looking at because often items are sold by vendors for MORE than they go for at, say, Penguin. It takes some time to find a specific item, but if cost is an issue, EBAY can have some good deals.
Also be sure to check the marketplace here in the Café. I have received really good deals here as well....and you can specifically ask for what you are looking for. |

For a one effect wallet of card to wallet I would recommend the Real Mans Wallet as jcroop has mentioned. With a good t** p*** you can do wonders with this thing. Ive found it very easy to use and extremely quick to load. I use it from the back pocket and it works great.

The Paul LePaul Style wallet holds a normal size billing envelope (I always use window envelopes), is easily refilled--I load it in front of the audience at the end. It can also hold a bigger load like a ring or watch in the envelope. The envelopes are pennies a piece. I can carry ten envelopes in the rear of the wallet, and am loaded for more than an hour without returning to my bag. The envelopes are easy and quick to reset. The Ambitious Card sells a nice Paul LePaul style wallet. Here is the routine:

When you posted that, L&L was selling the download of the World' Greatest Magic - Ambitious Card for less than $5. I imagine you should keep an eye on their online store, as they might have this on discount again at some point. However, I must warn that this DVD doesn't have Daryl's ACR - there is an Al Schneider ACR with a card to box ending. David Regal's ACR is my favorite in this DVD by far. |

I'm in shocked by Haydn great double lift. I have never seen that approach before, a layman one. It is really deceptive and it makes me think about all the super hard ones l'm using…
