David Williamson has 'Hope on a Rope' in some old notes that may have a move or two that's not in Fiber Optics. Sorry, but I've long forgotten the name of the notes...about 20 some years ago.

I haven't seen the video clip. Is this anything like the Jack Miller moves for ring and rope that were published in the back pages of his 5 ring routine?

you should look at the video to be sure, but I don't think it is the same as the "Miller Move" explained in Daryl's rope dvds.

I just checked the "Linking Heart" mp4 by Paul Romhany.
This looks like the first of his linking effects. He doesn't credit anyone - or any of the other linking effects in the series. Clear descriptions though.

This move is taught in Eric DeCamps's Ring and Rope routine. He calls it "Flips Misdirection Throw On", so I would guess it came to Eric from Flip Hallema though I don’t know what DVD or book it is in.
