Good Evening Guys!
I'm delighted to say that the first in a series of audio magic lessons called Listen is now available. Each week I will teach a new unpublished routine with cards. The material will range from semi automatic to a little more advanced in level, but nothing beyond the intermediate student. My aim is to create the atmosphere of an actual lesson just as if we are sitting studying at the card table together. Sound like fun? The first effect and lesson available right now is called the final countdown. From a shuffled deck, a spectator carries out a random series of actions culminating in a number being formed. That number is dealt and counted down to, arriving at say the Jack of Clubs. An envelope that has been in full view is opened and the contents removed. It's an odd back card which when turned over is revealed to be the Jack of Clubs! Extremely simple but strong, practical and commercial. Two utilities are taught in addition to the effect. To make your purchase simply click on the link below. Each lesson is just £5 Pounds and there will be zero arts n crafts! Thank you for your time and have a nice evening John https://www.paypal.me/JohnCareyListenMagic |

Just got this & tried it on myself a couple of times.
Well it's easy to do & it is good. It IS like having John sitting next to you. Very easy to follow instruction uing simple means to create a really good open prediction. I like it & it's easy to get into on the fly. Mike Donoghue |

This is a great idea for a series. Having been fortunate enough to listen to next weeks episode I can recommend these very highly. This series is definitely not just about the effects. Seasoned professionals will get new effects as well some lovely bits of business and the pleasure of John's wisdom. I am a great believer in simplicity in magic and, as with his books, John fulfils that criteria with this audio series.
This series is perfect for those new/relatively new to card magic. I agree with Mike Donoghue, it is like having John with you, in prison, giving tuition that is crystal clear and very easy to follow. In each episode you learn an effect and several tools/principals that can be used in a myriad effects. Definitely great value for money in my humble opinion. Excellent work John.
"I seriously love the disarming flexibility of Mick Wilson's SDP...one of those rare card-handling procedures that exemplifies the concept of 'why run when no one is chasing you'. SDP is an open-handed utility tool that conjurers will use to great advantage when creating new effects in the years to come."

Although John's a great guy to have with you in prison, too. He can make a mean card shank.
