Found a fabulous acrylic wine glass at Target that will hold a full deck of cards, looks great with a ball of yarn in it too.

Does this require the purchase of refills?
Can any yarn be used? I am asking in part as a) I like the looks of this from the demo, and b) my wife knits, so we have lots of yarn in the house
Commonly known as Mariano Blanco.

Refills? You'll notice in the promo video that the audience member is truly cutting the yarn, so yes, you'll eventually need a refill, but not for a very, very long time.
And yes, you can use any yarn you want if you don't want to use the color provided (mine was red). I can see somebody wanting to use a different color, to fit in with a theme or story. Great question @Romano911 Dave |

How difficult is it to use a finger ring instead of a dollar bill?

I just want to chime in here and say that I got this in and think it's a worthwhile purchase.
I've always liked the bill to impossible location and this makes it a little different. I think this is interesting, and I think it would be for any audience as well. It looks very clean, not difficult to do and it reasonably priced. If you're looking for something a bit different, this is worth a look. Robert |

Dear brehan thanks for writing. The Yarn is not suitable for walking around unless you carry from your home 5 or 6 ball of wool. Thank you! Take care.

Just got this and it's great. I am waiting on my Dream Pad by Joao Miranda and I think that combined with this to load the prediction inside the ball of yarn will be a great little routine as I already have a bill to orange effect I already perform.

This sounds really nice. I remember seeing the idea of string/yard rolled into a small ball many years ago from an older book. It was used in the same type of routine as this one. I can only imagine the working being the same. It was used (if I remember correctly) for a sign coin.
I have forgotten about it until I seen this thread. I love the idea of having a sitter pull the end on the yard. Nice touch. Best Ray |

I have not seen this in books, but this method lies in open access in the YouTube - from (Inventor) Michael.B. He uses the mental prediction at the end.
I love the magic & history of magic! My favorites magicians - Dai Vernon, Max Malini, Fielding West, Michael Finney, Jeff Hobson, Bob Sheets, Nick Lewin, Harry Murphy, Dick Oslund- great showmen of magic!
