Hey there everyone. I'm working on a couple of illusions for an upcoming production that call for black roller shades. I am having a hard time finding a good source for these. Anyone have suggestions? Also, I know that I need to remove a part in the mechinism to make it so that the shade is always under tension, can someone help describe the process of removing this for me. Thanks in advance.....first time workshop builder!

Look at the end of the roller shade, it will be apparent.
As for black, the illusions I seen attach a material of different types, depending on the builder, from a type of plastic to stretch cloth. These are things you have to decide for yourself when building. Nothing is set in stone when it comes to materials. Do a search in the Workshop topic, as I remember someone built a Zigzag and explained on this, and gave information on what he used. |

Try searching for blackout shades. That might bring more results.
