I will soon be taking over the webmaster duties for IBM Ring 103 in Norfolk, VA and am looking for recommendations of web authoring programs. Before I retired, I was the webmaster for a public school webpage, but that was ten years ago and I can't recall what program we used back then. I'm also sure there have been new web authoring programs on the market since then, so any suggestions would be appreciated. I would prefer a Mac web design program but will consider a Windows program if someone thinks there is a Windows program that is particularly outstanding. I have laptops for both platforms.
You can view the current Ring 103 webpage here: http://ibmring103.com/home.html One of the changes I am planning to make is to convert the videos on our video webpage http://ibmring103.com/Video/Video.html to mpeg videos. They are currently .mov videos which do not open on Windows computers. ----- Amado "Sonny" Narvaez

I'm building a website for Ring 19 using Wordpress. It's a very robust platform.
It's still magic even if you know how it's done.

Honestly, I think products like wix.com or squarespace.com are the way to go. You'll get a modern design that looks good and hosting built in.
