Hi. I was dissapointed to buy "Coin Bomber" and actually this was just a set of 4 "Trinity coin set" which I already have... Also to buy "Double Face Coin Thru Bill" which actually is a normal "split coin" (which I have) with two stickers inside...
So before to spend another 200-300 USD for some Wong's coins, please help me to not take some same prop which I already have and for example the only difference to be a sticker (which cost 1 USD...). Can somebody explain what are and what are the differences between: - Super Power 4 - Perfect Power - Super Triple Coin - Dream Coin Set

Have you tried searching around at all?
You could have saved yourself some heartache ni the beginning with that, this thread: http://www.themagiccafe.com/forums/viewt......start=30 talks about it being 4 trinity sets. There's also a slightly more detailed thread in Secret Sessions, but you need a couple of more posts (to 50) before you can see that. If you can't find it once you're there, PM me and I can send a link. Once you're familiar with the basic style of his gaffs, it turns out that most of this others are very similar, with small tweaks/improvements. Perhaps a better question would be: what are you trying to achieve, that having more of his sets would solve? |

Tonsofquestions, thank you! Well, you are right that we should search for more information before buy some coin or trick, but I think also that it is not so good Johnny (or other manufacturers) to name the same props with different names which lead to mistakes. Why Coin Bomber and not 4 Trinity Coin Set which actually is!? And why Coin thru bill instead of Split coin which actually is!?
By the way I prefere to use the Trinity coin with normal sh--l instead of the original which is magnet and in this way when work with only one coin it is easy to split it. So... let me back to the topic. Can somebody help me with the information about what exactly is (or differences between): -Super Power 4 -Perfect Power -Super triple coin -Dream coin set Which of them is better (and why) for 1 to 3 and 3 to 1 coins productions and will be good if possible also transformation to chinese coins?

The Super Triple will do what you're after. Here's a quick video of me using another set, rather than Johnny's.... Hope it helps;

Most manufacturers are wanting to sell you a routine, in addition to gaffs. It's what keeps you coming back for more. And they don't necessarily want to tell you what gaffs something is using, because if they did, you might be able to reverse engineer it using what you already know/have, and then they won't make another sale. I mean, consider Gregory Wilson's "Fistfull of Dollars", or Matt Mello's "Energy Coins". (Note: nothing wrong with either trick, they were just ones that came to mind quikckly)
If they called it "Another trick with a sh***l" it (a) wouldn't be as exciting, and (b) you'd figure it out more easily, and (c) reconstruct it yourself. In Johnny Wong's case, he made improvements. Coin thru bill has st*****rs that some hadn't thought to use before. You get routines, just like you do with Coin Bomber. There are also subtle difference between his various coin sets that make some moves easier. And to answer your question, pretty much any of them will do 1->3 or 3->1 coin productions, again with slight differences if you have particular moves/displays that you want to add. On the other hand, if you want possible transformations to chinese coins, the Double Faced Super Triple is what you want. It's like the STC, but with the same extra from the coin through bill so you can show chinese coins. However, there are a bunch of complaints about them (fake holes, hard to slide, etc), so I recommend doing a search and reading the thread about them for more info. |

Thanks for help Simplymagicweb and Tonsofquestions! I have Transient coins (split 3 coin set) by Roy Kueppers which in my opinion is the same as Wong's Super Triple (am I correct?). Yesterday I ordered also the Double Face Super Triple Coin Eisenhower Dollar version which will be nice in my opinion. I also purchased the Perfect Power 3, which some magicians recommended here because it is more thin.
Simplymagicweb - very nice video - thanks for sharing!

Simplymagicweb - very nice video - thanks for sharing! Thanks Hektormagic - I used to have Johnny's Double Faced Super Triple but sold it as the stickers caused sticking (excuse the pun!) and I had to coat them with a clear teflon type tape. The set in the video have no stickers and slide perfectly....
