Did anyone pick this up at blackpool
Or have it already http://www.penguinmagic.com/p/S22236 Can't see any Reviews on Café Copy Says : Healing effects always amaze audiences in a variety of situations. And now, so does HEAL, a new product from Smagic. You let the spectator pick a random card or you could borrow a dollar bill from him. Then you tear the card (or bill) without detaching the torn portion. With only a quick snap, it is restored - the tear is gone. A spectacular visual moment for any audience! And just as special is the fact that the spectator can watch closely and carefully throughout the entire performance. Audiences are stunned! |

Wizard product review gave it a worker - don't think it's worthy of that to be honest. They didn't go into great detail about it with little discussion on how clever (if it is) the gimmick is, quality etc.

As a Wizard Product worker of the week I am surprised that there has been so little chat regarding this effect.
Mine arrived yesterday and I am disappointed. The gimmick is tricky and time consuming to make and whilst they provide material to create a playing card or £1 Dollar bill gimmick you will have to cut up a real bill to make it up in your currency of choice. A wallet has to be in play throughout and when not in use the gimmick is delicate and vulnerable and may need replacing. There is only sufficient material provided to make two gimmicks. If I have the patience to make it up I will probably make two £10 gimmicks (one spare) as I prefer organic effects and borrowing a £10 note works well for me. The Wizard Product crew suggest using a new plastic £5 note because the claim that it is indestructible is topical however as you need to be seen to apparently tear the plastic note I don't think this would look realistic. On balance not for me. |

I agree with PaulW. I purchased. It did not make up and have returned to Penguin. I can't comment on how it will look but I can't imagine anyone dedicating a wallet or the space on their regular wallet to make this up. It is impractical to carry since the delicate gimmick lives on the outside of a wallet. An individual may come up with a practical solution but I did not.
