Funniest thing happened to me the other day doing a birthday party.I was doing the dove pan and produced the bird.I was holding him on my finger for everyone to see and it laid an egg.Good thing it was outside on the sidewalk.Never had this happen to me before in 5 years doing shows.
But it gave me an idea. I am going to palm a plastic easter egg and when I produce the bird drop it and have a message in it like Happy Birhtday Billy.Unless the kids name isn't Billy. Does anyone else do this and what is the reaction? Shawn D |

It is always cool when happy accidents happen. I like your idea of using what happened and trying to recreate that magical moment at every show you do. Let us know how it works out for you.

I think Greg Frewin in his stage act, does the bit of a dove laying an egg.
Notice how he always drops it (accidently ), steps on the broken egg, and up pops another dove. Wow! - Donald.

The Great Tomsoni's birds drop more than eggs every show. He is very funny but he has the presence to pull it off pan faced. Check out Johnny Thompson's video for some great ideas.
Nothing would get done at all, if man waited so long that no one could find fault with it.
