If it is only 3 weeks old then it should still be hand feed.

Funny you should mention that Justin,

So what did you name the bird?
We have a Peach-Faced Lovebird named Buddy (he was named that before we got him) and a Masked Lovebird named Dromio (from Shakespeare's Comedy of Errors). Dromio is a real pistolball. We sometimes call him Dromio, Bird Without Fear. Yours, Paul |

Hi Pyro
Ive got a breeding pair of lovebirds and they have just hatched their first chicks 2weeks ago. Heres is a good website with videos on how to hand feed them http://www.parrotparrot.com/lovebirds/handfeed.htm lovebirds are great but they are really noisy especially the female she is called tweety and the male is called feathers because he hasnt got any (him and feather are a oxymoron) as he plucks them. If all goes well and the chicks survive as they are spending less and less time with the chicks I will call them Gizmo and Puffin. Matt |
