Hey gang,
On June 18 I spent 3 incredible hours inside Houdini's home in New York City. The house is on the market for $4.6 million. It's been a dream of mine to see inside, and I think I've puzzled out the house as it was in Houdini's day. My full report here: http://www.wildabouthoudini.com/2017/06/......278.html |

You know I lived in NYC most of my life and not to far, 180th St. And never did I visit his home. So seeing your write up was bitter sweet. As you took us through the house I could just feel the electric ambiance of everything. Looking through the "eye" skylight I wondered if he was looking down at you? Sigh! How I would have loved to take that walk with you but I guess I did, because you have been so gracious as to post this for us. Thank you John, I wish we could pool our resources and buy the house to create a museum in his honor but alas, it seems the building will be treated as just real estate. Sigh! Thank you again, you have no idea how much this has meant to me.
A wise man can learn more from a foolish question than a foolish man can learn from a wise answer.
Attributing negativity to a topic or post doesn't make the topic or post negative, it shines a light on the negativity of the person or persons, making the attributions. BEWARE these Debbie downers and anything they say. They simply lack the self esteem or good will, to be positive or productive. Your belief in self, is more important and is all that matters, for your success to be glorious. |
