I am looking for a really good ventriloquist. I was wondering if anyone could recommend me someone who is different or interesting or just generally amazing!

I would prefer to hear about British acts but would happy to hear international recommendations as well!

Acts to go and see or see on youtube. Maybe get some inspiration from acts. I was thinking of dabbling in ventriloquism, but ultimately looking for inspiration at this stage.

There are many great British vents, both past and present, that should provide you with plenty of inspiration. If you haven't done so already, I highly recommend that you begin with my all-time favorite vent, the late Ray Alan. His technique was flawless and he created what I consider one of the most creative, singular, and funny vent characters ever, Lord Charles. Here are some links:
