Hey guys,
So I received this from Steven the other day, and had a read through. Basically, uses 3 business cards and a pen, and on one business card they write the name of someone they love, hate, and never met. You can tell them all the pieces of information. For a more accurate description, go here: https://www.thought-reader.com/sensory-intelligence I believe this is also available on lybrary.com Anyway, this reminds me a lot about sneak thief, it sort of feels that way when you get started, because uses the same move as sneak thief, but the routine is different, and everything is justified. This is easy enough that you can do, and allows you to focus on your presentation. There is a Which hand variation Finale for this which is great. A prediction which utilizes just another business card and a pen, similar to like I predict I will win tic-tac-toe with the following 3 moves, etc, etc. Even Dee Christopher has an alternate ending in the ebook with all his additional thoughts and ideas, dealing with the which hand routine. 8/10 Though I liked Sensory Intelligence, and I havent performed it yet, the next release I will talk about is for me my favorite, called DEAD CUT Luke Jermay praised Dead Cut, he says this routine will be overlooked, and is worth 10 times the price paid. What is dead cut? This is similar to the 5221 deck that was just released, in the sense that you can cut to a thought of card, but you do not need a gimmicked deck. Spectator cuts down, thinks of the face card cut to, remembers it, counts how many cards they have, burys everything, everything is then shuffled, then you can tell the spectator the thought of card, how many cards were cut off, and finally dead cut straight to it. No this does not use a memorized deck, so those that do not want to learn one, don't have to. This is actually much easier, and deceptive. This routine is a worker, and plays very well in the real world, I know I have already done it. Remember when you first saw Pit Hartling's Finger Flicker..........thats the type of reaction you will receive here. For those that don't know Finger Flicker, I suggest you look it up, its a great prelude, or post effect you can perform in addition to dead cut. It is in Pit Hartling's book Card Fictions. I applaud Steven for a very direct, easy to do, fooling, card effect, that uses a normal deck. No gimmicks, and everything can be set-up on the fly, even if you borrow a deck as well. 10/10 https://www.thought-reader.com/dead-cut

I love Dead Cut.
It is direct, plays very strong and you can really build up your presentation to turn this into a real show stopper. The method is also clever and it would be difficult to backtrack. Just to clarify- while the deck is normal, I disagree that you could borrow a deck and set this up on the fly easily. It could be done, but it does require a specific setup of the deck that would need to be done under cover if using a borrowed, shuffled deck. I highly recommend this. Its available at Lybrary for only $10, which is a steal. https://www.lybrary.com/dead-cut-p-922120.html |

I do like Dead Cut, but as TuneHV has pointed out, I wouldn't want to be setting it up on the fly.
