I recently purchased the Gordon Diary directly from Alakazam's UK site. I received the package with a non working DVD. I have tried contacting them via the website contact link and to the sales email address posted on their site, totally at least 3 times. No response. No canned response either, stating they have received my email and they will be responding soon. I surely receive all of their sales pitches via email on almost an every other day basis, so they know I exist. I live in the US, so I have hesitated to call them. I don't belong to Facebook anymore, so I have not contacted them via FB. What bother's me more, is that I had purchased the Gentleman Jack wallet directly also and had one question that I emailed to them concerning one of the routines that I thought was missing on the DVD. No answer from them, but was kindly answered by a Café member.
Has anyone experienced this lack of customer service from Alakazam? I especially want to hear from those ordering from the US. Any ideas on how to contact them and get them to answer. Very frustrating. I love their products and love watching Peter and Dave's Vlog's. If this is a pattern, and I hate to do this, I will no longer order from them. |

Your message was posted on the Alakazam FB page and was answered by Andy who also posted screenshots of the emails they sent on the 23rd and 30th October:
I managed to take a look through the emails and have found a trail of responses sent to Kurtis by Peter around the 23rd October and myself at the beginning of this week ( I’ve been away in holidays 😀 ) in response to the questions asked and offering some answers. I cannot see any bounce backs from the emails sent so can only assume that they have been received and maybe found their way into his junk folder, but please feel free to ask Kurtis to contact us via phone if he still has not seen the emails sent. We aim to respond to emails within 24 hours, so if for some reason this hasn’t happened this is generally for good reason ( emails down etc ) but we also have other avenues of contact where required should the initial response not be forthcoming. Unfortunately the Magic Café is not looked at as regularly so is not always the best way of contacting us. I hope this helps Kurtis, but as explained previously he is welcome to give us a call and we would be happy to help should any more information be required. Andy Hope this helps. |

Thanks for your response. It is reassuring that you and Peter have been trying to contact me. ... As I stated in my post, I receive your email advertisements without being filtered, so I know you have the correct email address. Believe me, the 1st thing I checked was my spam/junk folders and nothing was found. Unless your byline includes: "Viagra" "Cialis", "Young Chicks Looking for Studly Old Chinese Magicians", your replies should not be filtered out. Can I PM you with my email Andy, if not, I will call you tomorrow from the States. Kurtis |

I email Alakazam if I have a question about an effect and they always get back to me quickly,I can only talk about myself but to me they along with Saturn Magic are one of the better companies to trade with,

I ended up calling them and cleared up the problem I had. I am still scratching my head as to why their email responses are not getting thru to my inbox when in fact I receive all other announcement type emails from them. This is even after checking my "junk" or "spam" folder |
