That's no surprise, never resonated with the public, only some magicians.

When you say it was cancelled, I assume you mean they are not renewing after the first season, as new episodes are still airing.

Yes, it's just not getting picked back up. There's a petition going around, it seems, to try to get Netflix to take it on.

I'm certain a petition by 15 magicians will get that done.

Actually over 1,870 people have signed so far. They're hoping for 2,500. Not sure if even that will have an effect, however.

I have my doubts.

I have extreme doubts. That's just not really that strong a show of support. A basic Netflix membership is about $10. That means 2,500 signatures means about $25,000 - Many shows on Netflix are a million plus per episode.

This is a niche show that wasn't even all that well received in its own niche. Sorry for anyone who's sad to see it go, but I can't say I'm surprised. I try watching and it just did not catch my interest.

Finishing it off quickly, then. I was unimpressed with the show initially, but it grew on me and now I regret its demise. I must agree, though, that it's an unsurprising event and that it's unlikely that Netflix is going to come to the rescue.

I've watched it on HULU. Seems like it wasn't always showing up on TV on Sunday nights. The last three episodes came up on HULU on the same day. I noticed one strange thing about the show. I watched an episode on Sunday afternoon on HULU. That same episode was on Sunday night, but the episode's ending was different. It was the episode in which Cameron gets locked in a vault with no air. In the HULU version, it ends with him collapsing on the floor of the vault. On the ABC network version, he gets the door open as he collapses, the diamond is recovered, but the girl gets away. Two days later, and HULU was showing the network version. Really weird that there were two different endings. Quite deceptive.

All of the episodes except for one aired on Sundays. The one that did not was a Tuesday IIRC
