I am so glad I took the advice of my friend, Tim Ellis, and contacted Carisa Hendrix for recording a podcast. Carisa had just won the Best Comedy Award at the Melbourne Magic Festival 2017. I spoke with her just before the New Year and had this recording "in the can" for many weeks. I am so glad that I had this chat because she was indeed an interesting and fun conversationalist. Her young age belies her years of experience and dedication to art in general, but specifically to magic. She has developed a great stage persona, Lucy Darling, that was a hit at The Magic Castle. In this week's podcast, she talks about her experiences that led her to where she is now and where she plans to go.
