I wonder if anyone had any opinions on Mental Waltz by Lewis Le Val?
The effect sounds good, but I would like to have seen a performance (although understand that may tip the method). cheers |

I bought it, and it is not nearly as good as Anniversary Waltz, in my opinion.

Here we go again with one of Lewis's releases...
"Miracle Speller" - from Frank Garcia's book "Exclusive Card Miracles", pg 11. This was also covered by Jim Sisti (who teaches it as Frank's effect outright) in his Penguin LIVE lecture. This is not speculation - I have Mental Waltz. As soon as I started watching it, I knew immediately what it was having done "Miracle Speller" for years. All Lewis did was change the presentation. Literally. Zero change at all in the method. Sorry to have to say it, but it's a fact. I dislike being "that guy", but it's happened several times now. A great presentational twist can often bring value to an old idea - and that's fine. But if you're going to do so, then at least be honest and give credit where it's due. Sadly, I think the presentation here is a naturally occurring idea that anybody familiar with "Miracle Speller" would conceive easily. I was doing a similar thing with it myself for years in my walk-around gigs. |

Seems to be a running theme with this project.
