Maybe I am over thinking this, but as I sit here on the recliner watching tv I am practicing my overhand shuffle, riffle shuffle, and riffle shuffle in the air as my family and dogs look at me with puzzled looks. As I sit here leaning back I realize my posture and form is slightly different than when I am seated at my poker table practicing. Is there any harm of bad habits or is it beneficial to practice at different angles?

I think it's beneficial to practice at different angles so that you're always prepared whether you're sitting, standing or any situation. I like to practice my card moves anywhere I get. That includes at the dinner table, while lying in bed or secretly while working at the office
