Any advice on hand exercises that I can do to warm up my hands and fingers to make them more pliable before starting practice with cards and coins?

I think that one of the best resources is Greg Irwin - Finger Fitness. This will help you with the dexterity and flexibility of the fingers.

And eventually some general stretching videos.




Before starting to strech and exercise your hands and fingers, I suggest that you take the time to massage your hands and your forearms.

I just stretch and crack them a couple of times. Stretch your body too and make it loose while performing. No one likes a rigid magician.
