Ok, so the use of Changin' Glue is generally more relevant to card workers and therefore this may be more relevant in the card part of the Café but,A. most card users will probably already know this and B, this is relevant to me as a mentalist and therefore may be relevant to others.
I first picked up a jumbo tube of Changin' glue over 5 years ago whilst in the USA. It's lasted me all this time. The other day I finally ran out. did a quick Google search and discovered the only sellers for Changin' glue in the UK are magic dealers selling it for £13 a tube (marketed by Anthony Owen). £13 is a bit steep but I needed it and went ahead with the order. What I received today was a small tube of Zig-Zag glue, which I already have, (retailing at about £1.50 from most stationary shops). After a bit of research I've discovered that what I originally bought as Changin' glue is identical to zig-zag glue and the large tube I bought originally can be bought as Zig-Zag jumbo (selling at about £4.50 a tube). This is probably old news to many but for anyone as ignorant as me hopefully you won't be caught out by crazy magic dealer mark ups. |

Thanks for the heads up. Much like roughing spray. Testor's Dull Coat does the same thing for much less.

Your talking about Zig glue, yes? Blue tube? Very useful stuff, highly recommended.

There are UK alternates available but have always found the nibs dry out really quick and become un-usable. It's the large size with the fat nib that I find particularly useful and this is the stuff I had a bottle of for many years called changin' glue. |

It's great glue. The repositional side of things is great - tacky but doesn't come off on your hand like most of the repo glue sticks, and it's also great for permanent stuff, like making Shaxon flaps.

Yikes on the mark up Ed... that's nearly 1000% - especially as you get a discount on volume
I'd never heard of this before last Friday... but thanks to someone on here I went looking... for Zig... I just happened to have bought the glue yesterday They also do them in packs of 12 I bought 12 tubes of the jumbo sized one for £30 [free UK postage] Sounds like I over bought, as in the photos the tubes look tiny, but as you said [Mr Wood] and the person who mentioned them to me also told me... they last a long time Maybe 12 is a life time supply. The only worrying thing was when I went on the manufactures website - it seems like the line has been discontinued. I'm sure that can't be the case, maybe I just didn't find the right page. But even if 1 tube lasts a good number of years, I would suggest getting a couple just in case… as it’s so often the way that they stop producing something and you only find out when you run out |

Nice to know that this product, which I recommended in my very first book (sixteen years ago!) is still the one to beat.
