I agree Boris did an amazing trick on Fool Us, but it appears there may have been some careful editing going on - making the effect appear much cleaner than if we’d seen it live. From what was shown I have no idea how it was done but I’d love to see an unedited version.

GREAT CARD TRICK! IF Penn and Teller were not actually stooges for this effect you will note at minute 4:00 in which he squares up the deck and "no funny business" is mentioned. That is a key that funny business is taking place.
At minute 4:54 when Penn takes the cards, Boris holds his hand as if he is palming cards. Might just be the way he happens to be holding his hand but maybe not.

There is no way that P&T are going to be secret accomplices to a magician performing on Fool Us. NO WAY!
Any suggestion that P&T were ‘in on it’ is absolutely ludicrous. Mark

Not a "zero chance" if they decide to pull one off on everyone. HAHA
A reviewer for Sensations indicated that culling and "sticky stuff" is used in some of the effects. I don't believe that if culling and sticky stuff was used that Penn and Teller wouldn't figure that out or at least guess it. Penn and Tell KNOW CARDS very well. They did not even attempt to guess at the method. They only asked a simple question to recall the procedure which we can know that they remembered anyway. Just more misdirection after the fact by them. GENIUS!

When Penn takes the three cards and before the camera show a close up, Penn squares up the three cards but not completely. You can see a tiny bit of pip behind the Two of Spades. Maybe that is another Two of Spades? Why would a spectator square up the cards without being asked to? Why weren't those three cards dealt face up? Penn looked at all three cards but didn't allow the audience to see them.

Here is a great interview with Boris Wild by Magician Jason Parker shortly after his appearance on P&T Fool Us. He discusses the editing and understood the questioning of it. Please watch and enjoy. Also, Watch Jason's interviews and his reactions to other performing magicians on Fool Us. You'll love it!
