Hi all,
I just came across this BPS post discussing a newly published academic paper. https://digest.bps.org.uk/2018/07/02/par......e-field/ The authors of the paper reviewed numerous studies conducted by parapsychology researchers and conclude there is support for ESP & suchlike abilities. The blog post summarises the article nicely, making for a quick but interesting read. But also, I thought you might be able to glean some presentational ideas from it, or even premises for an effect. - Ross

If you liked the article also consider buying the book Real Magic by Dean Radon. It offers up scientific proof for parapsychology. It really is an amazing read and gives the reader so much material to build presentational hooks around.

I'm in the middle of reading "Real Magic" right now. Excellent read thus far.

Wikipedia articles on parapsychology tend to get "edited" by sceptics. The definitive online source is the SPR encyclopedia:
https://psi-encyclopedia.spr.ac.uk/ Dean Radin's "Real Magic" is excellent, well and humorously written, although a bit lacking in its range. Barry |

It is easy to over-generalize and misunderstand things when you don't have all the available facts. A careful and more complete reading of all studies involving Geller, for example, does not lead to the conclusion that he is necessarily a fraud, although it does imply that he often uses known methods in public. I have seen this repeatedly from many "skeptics" over the decades. It is truly disheartening that so many people take the intellectual low road. I am beginning to believe it has more to do with wanting to belong than being intellectually courageous. And that manifests in many more areas of human beliefs than just here.

As with any encyclopedia, it's usefulness is totally dependent on its contributors.
Perhaps, miistermagico, you should submit what you know to the SPR. I'm sure they would welcome the additional information. You could provide critical commentary and fill in deficits. I see the SPR Encyclopedia as a repository of articles. Author bias is a normal part of the process and can only be corrected by having more information available.
