Could I get some advice on how to put a set of tricks into a cohesive segment? I'm just getting back into magic and would like any help. Thanks!

Well, Joe, (see! people DO read your profile!)
I don't think you have "introduced" yourself in the "new arrivals" forum. Without knowing anything about YOU, and YOUR experience, etc. it is at least difficult, if not darn near impossible to suggest anything. You need to understand that TRICKS or "sets of tricks", are only a small PART of producing an act or show (never mind a "cohesive segment".) Some here may presume to advise, by suggesting "things" that are far too specific, or, are a "shotgun" approach. I've been performing since 1945, as a part time professional. After about 20 years, I started as a full time pro., touring the US. I was never out of work. You say that you're "just getting back into magic. You must have had a REASON to "get out" of magic! Tell me more.

Pick up a copy of Dan Harlan's "More than meets the Eye". Everything you need to know is in there.
