I'm looking at this system and seeking feedback on it. They compare it to the JBL EON and it is half the price. I found it on ebay at $369.95 for the pair and would help reduce the work of setting up my sound system. I now use a Peavey XR600B Board and a pair of Peavey 1218 Speakers. The speakers give big booming sound that has filled the whole childrens area at a festival I performed at. It was so good that they wanted me to keep playing my cd as it provide sound to the whole 1 acre childrens area.

These are powered speakers, so all I would have to do is set them up, daisy chain them and turn them on. I figure I could get the money I need for them by selling my Peavey Speakers. I just need to know if this is a good move or a bad one. I know there are some sound guys out there that can probably give me some good information on this. my knowledge is limited in this area.

Link to them is here http://www.vidsonix.com/vidsonixnew/vidsonix_pro.htm they are at the bottom of the page and have a more info button to open another window with details.

Anything you can tell me would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

I don't know where I got the 1218 from, I have a pair of Peavey 358-S PA Speakers that I'm getting rid of to replace with these speakers. Still looking for some feedback on the Vidsonix line quality if anyone has ever used any of their speakers and would share their experiences.

Well, thanks for looking. Apparently no one has any experience with these. I guess I will have to be the guinea pig on these and report back here when I pick up a set.

Check out my hosting special at the last link below.

Thanks

Hi

Be carefull on the daisey chain in that you do not take an amplified signal from the first speaker to the next as this will overload the second.
Also do not use standerd speaker leads to pass the signal to amplified speakers - use shielded cable (Mike leads are suitable).
