I was playing around with Up the Ante and something occurred to me. If you have the spectator cut the deck several times and then do the shuffle without the performer touching the deck as the effect goes then you are actually in a position to do a really cool card location.

At this point the spectator is pretty well convinced that you couldn't possible know the locations of any of the cards, so the top card is a fair selection right? It was their cutting and shuffling that brought that card to the top. So have them take the top card, memorize it and place it in the center of the deck. Once this is done, you can easily determine what their card is from the top 11 cards. At this point you can locate their card anyway you like. Ribbon spread and pull it out, etc..
