I remember driving into Denver from out in the middle of nowhere and begging my dad to stop at Mile High Magic & More. I remember feeling intimated by how good of a magician Ned was. If I was lucky, my dad would give me 30 minutes to look around. I remember being introduced to Slush powder there. Anything seemed possible if I could just go by Mile High Magic.
I hear Ned's no longer in business, which is a real shame. I still have one of his old pink covered catalogs. I remember looking through it over and over again dreaming about what prop I could buy next. Not sure if Ned is around these parts, but I'd love to hear what he is up to these days. |
