Hiya! As a recent "purchasee" (?!) of this effect, I was wondering if I could get soe help from anyone that uses this item in thier performance?
The suggested idea to write on the inside of the wallet like a white board really doesn't sit well with me, its not very natural for an everyday wallet. However, having paper inside it is a much better idea. I was just wondering how people do this. Do they have a bunch of pieces of paper sitting inside the wallet loose? Do they just leave the written one inside before closing? Is the piece of paper just loose? Also, the h**e in the back....surely if someone saw the bottom of the wallet, they would just think you could see what was inside regardless, without the need of the gimmick? Your thoughts? (no pun!) Thanks! |

Magicmat,
Use post-its. Carry a bunch with you, either just casually inside the wallet or in a different pocket. You then take one out, use it with the gimmick, do the move, and you're set! I personally usually carry a non-permanent board marker with me, and just casually say "This is my little whiteboard, by the way. Got it from a stationer's. Useful." and carry on. No-one has yet questioned it. Scott. |
