The host asked us to comment on "Of Dice Men (Hug/Kill)". Since the gimmick works on any cards, I agree with the host, rather than use the cards that come with it, if you feel uncomfortable hugging someone, make up different cards that go along with the theme of your magic show. If I invented the trick, I wouldn't have used Hug/Kill anyway. There are a lot of better choices to pick from. It appears you can't straighten out the cards that come with it anyway, so this would be an opportunity to make your own. Just my 2 cents.

The nice thing about the "hug" ending is that you can appear to accidentally show the "kill" cards to the audience in the act of hugging.
You could change it to a handshake but it would be harder to make the reveal seem like an accident while making sure everyone but the spectator sees it. |
