Hi everyone! I'm Alex Tsui, a semi-pro magician from a magical place called Sabah in Malaysia. Anyone else from Malaysia here?
I've recently started a magic resource site to help all magicians (both young and old) to learn from each other and to improve our magic. I'm currently looking for magic articles to be posted on my site. If you have anything interesting or useful to share, please submit to me here: http://www.magic-tricks-guide.com/magic-articles.html If I publish your article, I will include your name, email (and website URL if you have) at the bottom of your article. Any contribution is highly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Hi Alex!
Welcome to the Café. Mya
There is nothing that remains so constant as change. Don't end up like concrete, all mixed up and permanently set.

Thanks for all your warm welcomes!
Ben, actually magic is not that alive here in Sabah where I stay. It's much better over in West Malaysia, especially in Kuala Lumpur (the capital city). In fact, I haven't met a single friend who's into magic here. However, I've heard that a professional guy is doing a big illusion show for company functions. Too bad I haven't met him yet. He's quite low profile. All is not lost however. I happen to teach at an IT college here as my full-time job. Hey, even Clark Kent works as a reporter when he's not doing gigs as Superman. I've started a small magic club for my students who like magic. We only have 7 members so far but the surprising thing is...5 girls and only 2 guys. All along I thought that girls were not that interested in magic. Hmmm...or could it be something to do with the handsome guy who's teaching them? I wonder.

Hello WinBoy13 from Brunei!
Thanks for the coffee, Tora. By the way, has anyone said that you look like Max Maven? I can't believe there are so many magicians around my side of the world. Just my luck that I don't meet a lot of them in the offline world. Any lady magicians from Asia? I have a few girls learning magic in the magic club that I started at my work place. It's very refreshing to see that magic is not so male-dominated as it used to be. Magical Regards, Alex Tsui

Hey Alex,
A big ello from across the border down south. Great site you have there. More lady magicians under your tutelage? that's' weird... I could use some myself haha. But most of my lady friends like to watch more than anything. Anyway give me a shout if you ever come Singapore. cheers, Isaac |

Hi Alex Tsui, visited your site and it looks pretty cool. I am from Malaysia too, glad too see another magician in this country. I'm staying in Klang, half an hour from Kuala Lumpur. I hope one day you can come over here and meet up or something. We do have a group of magicians here where we share and have fun together.
p/s: I am pretty new to magic, started about 6 months ago. Regards, Jason Ng |

Hi Alex, I'm from Malaysia too, your neighbouring state, Sarawak! But right now I'm in Melbourne.
I'm a beginner in magic(I just started a few months ago). Wonder if you know any good magicians/magic societies in Sarawak? in particular Miri? Oh, and by the way, Welcome to the Café. |
