So,
No Almond croissant for my pre-pitch coffee, The buttons on my braces pinged as I set up, My trousers fell down, Agency charity collector all over the place. Low foot fall, I left a prop at home. the later afternoon showers all came in the morning rain, So I went home. (First world problems I know. But sometimes it just seems it dose not want to work)
Enjoy your magic,
and let others enjoy it as well! |

General Custard,
I ALMOST felt pity(!). My cold heart,...quenched. Slightly. But then, I looked out MY window. Then, I looked up Dragaville's weather forecast. Then, I looked back out MY windows... You lucky devil! Spring is coming to Dragaville! Springtime(!),.. The season,...Buskers are 'young again'! The moment of un-endless promise, dreams,..and plans! Springtime. You lucky sheep-herder. By me,..Autumn. 'Fall'. ,..as in 'fallen'. Over. Winter,...around the corner. 'Dorment.' The fruits have dropped. Your temperatures are rising(!). The warm winds filling your sails! I have cold rain waiting to blow my face,.. puddles of water,...hoping for my shoes. Almond croissants for pre-Show brunch,... ahh, the thought makes me warm! Enjoy a second one,...'for me'! As 'bad' as we have it, ...we sure have it good! Tomorrow comes(!)..! For you, ...and for ME! Have a good one. Remember that second croissant(!), ,..I'll be tasting for it! gallagher |

Years ago I watched my daughter perform in a highschool play. As a good dad, I was there every night. The fourth and final show was full of errors. People said the wrong lines, there were tech issues, but somehow they made it through to great applause. Later I found out this happened at every show. In fact, the director had told the kids to expect difficult things to pop up, and to expect to deal with them.
The best part of busking is I can call it quits for the day and go home. However, on the days when I push through, when I play with only part of my toys, when things don't go right - sometimes I find a new way, a new method, a new part of me that I like knowing about. Other times, I should have just quit for the day! |

Omens and superstitions? …… factor in at times. July, August, September good hat months, tourists!
the rest of the year mostly locals. (5 cents 10 cents 25 cents!) so we stay away until May. I don't use "hat" lines, just a preference. Last week end we set up one Sat. afternoon (booked 1 hour) first person dropped $5.00 into our hat I said to my partner "gotta' be a good omen". very slow next 20 mins. $2.00 = $7.00 Parking was $3.00 balance $4.00 = $2.00 each hah! yesterday (definitely this years finally) first hat $5.00 … oh oh! bad Omen! that was the only paper, though we beat last weeks total by $20.00 not worth the drive. out of the $20 about $5 were nickels and dimes! that coinage doesn't get much unless it's up to the brim! Parking is $3.00 and hour, and you put 10 cents in my hat! …. keep your 10 cents just give me a hug! Is there a polite way of expressing that? Many trains appear during our sets often 100 - 140 cars! just feet away from us, takes 7 - 9 minutes to pass, in which you lose most! yesterday 2 Freight trains in 30 mins. first mainly boxcars, the second boxcars plus at least! 40 tank cars labeled "Petroleum - Liquified Gasoline" Another Omen .. I think Nala |
