With a lot of trial and error I also found that Leo Boudreau's "Eyes closed if red card" trick

can be done using:
Tamariz 18 cards: The Ten of Spades thru Ace Hearts (pos 34-51) or 3 sets of these 18 cards giving a 54 card deck.

Also can be done using:
Osterlind BCS 26 cards: The Seven of Clubs thru Six of Clubs or 2 sets of these 26 cards giving a 52 card deck.

Also can be done using:
Aronson 17 cards: The Jack of Spades thru Three of Spades or 3 sets of these 17 cards giving a 51 card deck.

Below are the crib sheets needed with each of these 3 perfect wrapping DeBruijns (based on Hearts and Diamonds being binary "1" and Clubs and Spades being binary "0") decks mentioned above. Note that the magician can have his back turned while a spectator cuts the deck a few times then he and 5 other spectators each take the next card from top of deck (they can hide their card and the deck from the magician's view the whole time. When the magician turns around and eventually tells the spectators "if you have a red card close your eyes and concentrate on it" he notes that the spectators with eyes closed are binary "1"s the others are binary "0"s (of course you, the magician, must control the situation so the 6 spectators are standing in a line in the same sequence they took their card).

Once you know the first card you know the rest because you have the deck memorized (if not you can include the other 5 cards on each row of the crib sheet).
All 3 DeBruijn's above and their crib sheets have been 100% tested OK (all patterns on each).

If you want to live dangerously you could use a full deck and have the DeBruijn cards near the middle then at performance time after you do some false shuffles and false cuts say to the spectator "cut the deck somewhere near the middle" (note they do just one cut and complete the cut).

Then proceed with the trick as usual. Note that the sorted cheat sheet is still valid. Also note that there will be more danger if the spectator cuts too "thick" than cutting too "thin" because there will be a card dealt then 5 more dealt thus going deeper into the deck.

I lean to putting a few more "non DeBruijn" cards on top of the DeBruijn group of cards and less of them after the DeBruijn group.

Note: be sure to keep your stack cycle intact when moving the DeBruijn cards to the middle before the performance (do it by doing some simple complete cuts until you like it then you are ready to perform the trick).

Your "out" if you see they obviously cut too thin is to say "cut a small amount more to get a random choice".

Your "out" for a too thick cut is more difficult and you may want to slide into another trick such as Leo Boudreau's 7 card 5673142 trick with 3 spectators: see the below link and and scroll up a couple of posts to see Leo's post "A counterpart to "Circular Psychometry" may be performed..." (and just use 7 random cards to do that trick - it is excellent!).
