Has anyone who has this noticed that there is no description of the card being dealt down in fron of the spectator or did I just miss it? The other 3 cards are discussed.

Does the routine require a lot of instruction for the spectator? Can it be performed in noisy-ish conditions?

Is there a performance video of this routine?

No. Never has been.

I bought this and was initially concerned at how straight forward it seemed to be.
I thought I should give it a go, and it absolutely kills (as has been said earlier). I must have performed it 7 or 8 times casually, and if the moment arose, I wouldnt hesitate to perform it at a paid gig. I imagine this would really suit one of those 'one more thing' routines, especially as you could leave them the deck. |

Good trick. Very well taught as usual with Ben’s effects. I currently use Shuffling Lesson by Chad Long and still think SL is the absolute strongest version of this plot but this is a worthy contender.

If vanishing inc cannot be bothered to produce a simple demo then I cannot be bothered to buy it.

An honest demo would reveal the method. They would have to cut at the one key point in the routine and then people would harp about a misleading demo.

Ok. Fair enough.

Well yes I worked out Red Herring from watching a full performance .
Don’t get me wrong I love it but had done similar effects myself after watching the amazing guy dvd by Thom Peterson . I also have Chad Longs shuffling lessons and various others where you predict two cards which you also predicted would have a hole cut out of the middle of one and a square on the other . These are often very old ideas streamlined together to create more layers , but well worth it imo . Full demos though give the method away to keen eyed magicians Gaz 🙂 |

Not posted on here for a while but see that nothing much has changed.
I got this months ago & have used it a lot . It’s excellent. Very well routined & I have fooled a couple of knowledgeable magicians with it. I already had Red Herring which is also great. Mike Donoghue |

Mike on the latest and greatest section it’s purely about speculation , they are the threads rules .
Unless you want the rules changed , you sound like a remoaner if that’s case ( joking ) Gaz 🙂 |

They do have to follow instructions but the instructions are not complex and there's only one little movement you want them to do carefully which could mess up the trick if they don't - but it's nothing difficult to manage. After that they really can't mess up unless they accidentally drop the deck out of their hands. So a quieter environment would probably suit it better. I have performed twice and it is such an awesome thing for the spectator to experience! |
