The Cartmundi CLASSIC PLAYING CARDS are sold by Cartamundiusa and are made in China. They are plastic-coated (not 100% plastic) and feel rather thinner than I expected but handle quite nicely out of the box. This is in stark contrast to the plastic-coated Fournier 505s that do not fan or spread nicely, even after months.
Before I sink any money into the Cartamundi Classics, do any of you have any experience with them? In terms of durability, do you know how they stand up against Bikes or Tally-Hos? What is strange to me is that they are rather inexpensive if bought in bulk, e.g., 36 decks at a time. I had heard that Cartamundi is a quality manufacturer, but perhaps not all of their lines are stellar. Thanks in advance for any guidance you can provide.
So many sleights...so little time.

Might be late but I just saw your post. I bought some at a discount store years ago. They weren't terrible but they were very stiff. One card was mis-cut, had a squarish corner that I fixed with nail clippers. They were smooth, no embossing. They do not faro well at all. The current crop might be vastly different.
It's never crowded on the extra mile....
