This is from The Linking Ring, April 1988, pag. 125:
"Leo Behnke had a spectator hold a deck of cards while a second spectator selected a card from another deck (2C). The selected card vanished. A third spectator thought of a number (6). The first spectator counted down in his deck to the sixth card. It had the only red back in a blue backed deck. The card was turned over and was seen to be the 2C". Any idea where to find it?

Leo Ralph Behnke, is now 86 years of age, he last lived in Los Angeles, California. Has written many books on magic during his life and contributed many magic effects during that time. He was never one that made himself available to the magic community, but he associated and worked with many famous names in magic.
You don't say if this was an article or a trick being offered for sale. Thus it could be in one of his long list of books, or was something he never published. Many of his books are still available at different websites if you care to search.
