How similar is this to what Asi Wind released in his book? I love that effect and want to know if this builds off of that.

So here’s the thing- this is the same as I worked out months back so it is good but I bought something I already had developed. Honestly, it’s not entirely original. I remember years back seeing something very similar- however, in fairness to Mark and this release, my version and another was a prediction- this version is a spectators selection. |

Under the table is the way to go IMO. I do like the fact that in one example the card is place back in the deck not cut. The sure fire way I have been doing these type of effects is cutting it back into the deck. I also like spreading all the face up cards. Nice touch there. It would be interesting to hear from anyone who has received the DL their take on these point.

Mark, is the name a Fugazi reference?

The effect is a very strong one and the teaching is functional. The crediting is pretty solid without trying to be encyclopedic.
And I really wanted to not like this. The editing creates conflicts at times, there is mumbling at times, thereisspeakingsofasteverythingrunstogether at times, and people need to stop touching their faces so much during video shoots. And yet none of that could deter how much I truly liked the magic effect being taught. There are also some very smart touches peppered in the teaching. They aren't quite pointed out, but if you mimicked the handling exactly, you would be doing these things and benefiting from them. Lastly, there was no context given. Sometimes that is good, sometimes it is not. In this case, I believe too many tricksters will simply do exactly what they saw on the video. No context. No premise. No hook. Was it coincidence? Was it influence? Was it intuition? Was it magical powers? It's good that there are options, it's less good that it wasn't really addressed. Yet still, I'm simply left with, "It's a strong piece of magic taught well enough to be learned with relative ease." All my attempts to not like this download were not able to tarnish the end result one bit. Last but not least, most of you will find use for that spread technique in other effects you do. |

Tom, (or anyone who can assist) in your opinion, is the method for placing the card face up into the deck an step forward in this type of an effect. Or, is cutting it back into the deck still a safer way to go? Thanks

What a strange review 😀 (but good nonetheless)
Why would you “really wanted to not like this”? 😂 Quote: On Mar 4, 2019, Tom Cutts wrote:

Scott0819 I named the effect and yes the name was inspired by the Fugazi album.
