I have my answer.
No matter how many times you say the wrong thing, it will NEVER be right.

If I'm not responding to you? It's because you're a TROLL!

If there is a single truth about Magic, it is that nothing on earth so efficiently evades it.

We all seek to change reality to our favor, so I do not see performing magic (layers of deception and lies) as being *too* psychotic. It is as psychotic as dating or marketing. Okay, maybe pretending to be a magical is quite psychotic.

How do I come up with my material? Well, I get a daily visitation from Christ, who is neon and glittery, he transcribes jokes for me which I then jot down in menstrual blood.

The most normal thing about magic is that it is amazing.

We are all a little mentally unstable.

That's why the world is as crazy as it is.

Plain and simple.

We are precisely 50% irrational and 50% rational. Our Magic is divided likewise. Because are well balanced we are perfectly stable. The irrational patter corresponds with the irrational right, while the rational magic corresponding with the rational left, hemisphere of the brain. It is the magician job to balance these two equal and opposite forces: to make the crazy appear sane. If you act is a little crazy and lot sane then it is bond contain too many tricks an hour. You will need to cut a trick or two and add more patter to the others. That is “patter” in the broadest sense of the term.

The paranormal does not exist in reality. Therefore, then, the people who believe they have paranormal abilities are psychotic. The magician playing the role of such a psychotic must act accordingly. For example, the magician must appear to go into a trance, speak multiple languages, including Latin, while calling on the spirits to send a message to a Lemmon.

There is a symptom of psychosis called "magical thinking" so... yes, from a certain point of view.

You know, I just realized the net value of just my magic books and yeah I might be psychotic. I wouldn't sell a single one.

If you were handed a letter to read aloud to a physiatrist and did so, then if the letter was shown to the physiatrist who seen it was a blank sheet of paper, then would the physiatrist think you insane and would you claim you were not?

Part of the MMPI that's designed to catch people "faking" mental illness is based around the premise that people with psychosis don't tend to understand that their delusions are delusions. I don't think I agree with that premise. Knowing might be the most torturous part.

In Tesla's day, a "Crackpot" was "a small-time big-shot" - a local celebrity
