Has anyone ever seen Troy lecture before? I have read many reviews on his book
"DesTroyers" and think that it would be a wonderful purchase My only question is that I am still real new to coin magic and I only have Bobo’s book. Although I have just ordered David Roths Expert Coin Magic vol. 1. I will still attend the lecture but am unsure as to whether to buy the book or not. Any advice would be great! |

Hi CardTrix!
Although I haven’t seen Troy’s lecture, friends have told me his stuff is great! "Destroyers", and "Silver Surf" seem to have gained good reputation, and a lot of guy’s are really into his great applications with the "flipper" coin! Hope this helps! Steve

Troy gave a lecture last month at our local S.A.M meeting. He is a great entertainer and gave a terrific lecture. His technique is so good that even when you know how he did a trick, the illusion takes over and you are swept into believing that you are seeing the impossible.
Humans make life so interesting. Do you know that in a universe so full of wonders, they have managed to create boredom. Quite astonishing.

I highly recommend the book and if you buy it, definitely get a flipper coin too. There are MANY fantastic routines with the flipper coin in the book as well as a bunch of other great stuff. Plus the book is hardback.

I have known Troy for a number of years and highly recommend both books and his lecture.
He is a great guy, will answer any question and will take special time to make sure you got it, if you ask. Truly one of Magic's nice guys. Tell him Shadow says hi |

Troy's book is filled with brilliant card and coin magic. Most of the coin routines will require some practice but little previous knowledge. Some of the three coin routines in here are really worth looking into and learning well.

He was here last week.(US Toys and IBM Ring 129 collaboration)
Fun stuff and not beyond a lot of peoples ability. I am guessing that some may think it is before they start putting in some time. The bit with the little mask is cute and has appeal to those that don't like coin magic.(no tell me it isn't so) If you know the bit, you might try it with a coke cap, from a glass bottled coke that is.)
