If someone have this trick, let us know what you think about it!
https://www.vikingmagic.com/product/the-last-card-annemann/ Effect: The performer displays a window envelope which contains one card, the back of which can be clearly seen through the envelope. This is placed in plain sight. An audience member is asked to merely think of a playing card (absolutely no force of any kind). The performer now lifts the envelope so all can see; he tears it open and allows the enclosed card to fall free of the envelope into the spectator’s hands. When the card is revealed it matches the spectator’s thought of card. An ingenious piece designed by Nick Ruggiero and now built by Collectors’ Workshop. |

Years ago, when I first saw this item in a catalog, I read the routine, looked at the prop, and then looked at the price ... all in about 20 seconds.
Like many magicians who did the same thing, I immediately had the entire gimmick and its operation crystal clear in my head. I have since wondered if this prop is as deceiving as magicians would like to presume it might be for $2500.00 But perhaps ideal for a cruise ship mentalist on a small raised stage, one who posesses absolutely perfect presentation and audience handling skills!

The table is very deceptive but there are many ways to achieve a similar routine. These tables are very rare and may be of particular interest to collectors.

Too perfect.
One of the last living 10-in-one performers. I wanted to be in show business the worst way, and that was it.
