I have been trying to find a way to get the Sharpie Thru to clip to my left breast pocket. Because of the gaff, the cap does not stay on tight enough to use the clip of the cap. The writing part of the Sharpie just falls down into the pocket because the cap is not tight. I have put some soft welcro inside the cap but its still too slippery. Anyone else have this problem. Any solutions?

Pocket as in jacket? Or shirt?
Just don't use the clip and look for a way to hold the entire pen. You may have some luck with an elastic loop to hold the Sharpie in place. For a shirt pocket (or jacket for that matter), try a modified "pocket protector" and sew (or staple) an elastic loop onto a piece of cardboard that can slip into your pocket deep enough to remain unseen.

You can sew a small sleeve as well.
Well then...

I use the soft velcro, a little piece placed just inside the cap to give a good snug fit.
