Hi guys. I already have volume 3 of this great series. I find it fantastic! however, I would like to purchase maybe one or tow more and was wondering if anyone has any advice on which ones stand above the rest. I know this may be tough to do but I have heard great things about volume 1 also. Virtually no one has given an opinion on volume 5 either. Anybody?

I have all 5. The best are number 1 and, surprisingly number 5!

Volume 3 is definitely the best IMHO. Rates as one of my 3 favourite books of magic.
I find 4 & 5 to be thought provoking as well. Vol. 4 provides some more details on stuff described in 3. Volume 1 describes 2 or 3 effects I regularly perform. Can't go wrong with any of them. Steve Beam is definitely one of the nicest, funniest and smartest performer I have met. His sense of humour is definitely reflected throughout these books! Impatiently waiting for vol. 6 Jean-Luc |

Dear Curmudgeon,
I've found this serie in Bazar de Magia, great magic dealer based in Argentina. They have both but in spanish version. Perhaps this helps ? http://www.magia.com.ar/index.php?w=show......emId=176 Regards |

I have books one, three and five. I have also seen Steve Beam Lecture three times.
I have not yet been disappointed by the wealth of entertainment and humor provided by one of Magic's true innovators. |
