Just wondering, what would you say is the best prop you've ever bought (looks, simplicity, effect etc.).

My favourite is my mutilated parosle.

The best thing for me has been books and videos. I know it is not a prop, but I have gained more from reading and watching then I ever have from any prop I have bought.

If I had to pick a great prop, I would have to say the Drawing Board by Axtell has given me a lot of joy as I am both an artist and a magician. It is easy to perform and there are numerous ways I can do the routine to customize it for any event.

Hank ball. You can vanish, produce silks with it. Very deceptive.

Not counting "collectibles" I would say most of the wooden apparatus by Mel Babcock.

Probably Jay Scott Berry's topit. However, I collect playing cards and it was my obsession with cards which started me off in magic.

At least, these are the props I have the most fun performing.
